We Tried the ‘Couple Test’ App That’s Gone Viral on TikTok: The Results Were… Kind of Chaotic!

Okay, so I’m gonna be totally real with you guys. My boyfriend (let’s call him

Jack) and I have been together for three years. We’re that couple that basically

shares a brain—or so I thought.

You know those TikToks where couples are doing those "who is more likely to"

challenges or answering deep questions and someone ends up looking completely

offended? Yeah, I’ve been scrolling through those for weeks thinking, “We would

nail that.”

Well… we finally downloaded the Couple Games app last night because we were

bored of just scrolling Netflix for two hours. And honestly? It was not what I

expected.

It started out cute... then it got real lol.

The app has all these different categories. We started with the "Quick Fire"

trivia. I thought I knew his coffee order, his first pet’s name, all that. But

then it asked: "What is your partner’s biggest irrational fear?"

I said "spiders."

He said "getting stuck in a revolving door."

I have literally never heard him mention a revolving door in three years.

I was dying laughing, but also, how did I not know this?!

Why it’s actually addictive

The reason this specific couple games app is blowing up is because it’s not just

"sweet" questions. It actually pushes you a little bit. We moved on to the

"Couple Test" section (the one you keep seeing on your FYP) and things got...

chaotic in the best way.

There’s this one feature where you have to rank things secretly and then

compare. We got into a 20-minute "debate" (okay, it was a playful argument)

because he ranked my cooking as a 7/10 but ranked his "gaming skills" as

a 10/10. 💀

It’s not just for "new" couples

I think people assume these types of couple games are just for people in the

honeymoon phase. But honestly? It felt so good to actually talk and laugh

instead of just sitting on our phones in the same room. We ended up staying up

until 1 AM just going through the "Deep Connections" deck.

It actually sparked a conversation about where we want to travel next year that

we hadn't really settled on yet. So, it’s not just memes and jokes—it actually

helps you get on the same page.

The "Vibe Check":

  • The Good: Super easy to use, the UI is actually cute (not clunky like some others), and the questions aren't cheesy.

  • The "Chaotic": Be prepared to find out your partner has some weird opinions you didn't know about.

  • The Verdict: If you’re bored or feel like you’re stuck in a routine, literally just try it.

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking for a way to spice up date night (or just a random Tuesday on

the couch), you seriously need to check out Couple Games. It’s free to start and

honestly, even if you just do it for the TikTok vibes, it’s worth it for the

laughs.

Just... maybe don't get too mad when they don't know your favorite pizza

topping. You’ve been warned! 🚩😂
